Front Door: Facing South
In a previous blog, I wrote how the direction of your front door can impact your life in that house.
If your front door faces south, this is a very good direction. South represents a peak time, the peak of summer and the peak of noontime. It is very strong yang energy. It is ruled by fire.
Living in a home that faces south, you and your family may have lots of attention from the community or in your careers. It is a social house. It is a place for fame, recognition and reputation. A good home for a politician, however, you must be vigilant that good reputation is maintained, as you are in the spotlight. (The main door of the White House faces south!)
To get the most benefit from this direction, plant some red flowers outside your front door. As fire energy can cause conflict in the home, a water feature outside the door can temper this energy. (The White House has both red flowers and a fountain!)

Generally, a south-facing door (in the Northern hemisphere) is very auspicious. The door receives sunlight all day.

Hi Kiran,
If your front door faces west, your back “sits” east. I would need your birthdate to see if that direction is compatible with your birth energy.

Hi Rami,
You are a 9-East Group person. We go by the sitting direction of the home, which is opposite from the facing direction. So your best sitting directions are East, Southeast, South and North. Therefore, your best facing directions are opposite of that: West, Northwest, North and South. Good luck!

If you are in the northern hemisphere, and while standing in the doorway looking out you are facing south, that is very fortunate – because your front door receives lots of sunlight.

You are an East Group person and it is good for your house to “sit” south, which means that the front of the house faces north.

If you are a male, you are an East Group person and when you’re entering into your home (facing the back) you should be facing North, South, Southeast or East.
