Below are details of the 4-Day Feng Shui Immersion Workshop.

Dates/Time: Thursday, Oct 26- Saturday, Oct 28th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, plus Sunday, Oct 29, 2023 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Class Location: Planting Fields Arboretum, Oyster Bay, NY 

Planting Fields is a magnificent Gold Coast estate from the 1920s, which survives today as a statement about art, architecture, and landscape.  Located in Oyster Bay, New York and originally landscaped by the Olmsted Brothers, the grounds feature 409 acres of greenhouses, rolling lawns, formal gardens, woodland paths and outstanding plant collections. We will take advantage of the beauty of this special land throughout the workshop.

Hotels: 
East Norwich Inn is the closest and most convenient to both Planting Fields and the charming coastal town of Oyster Bay. It also offers very reasonable room rates.

There's also the Comfort Inn Syosset and Days Inn Woodbury, which are several miles away. Also, you may want to consider AirBNB's in Oyster Bay or Syosset.

Food:
Food is not included. However, snacks, coffee, tea, water will be provided in the classroom. We will have a 90-min lunch break. Classroom has a refrigerator for your lunch which you can purchase on your way to class each morning or the café on campus may be open (or you can leave the campus). Students can gather for impromptu dinners in Oyster Bay. We will have one special group dinner in Oyster Bay on Friday night (end of the workshop).

Airport:
JFK and LaGuardia Airports are both roughly 30 mins from Planting Fields.

Railroad:
The Long Island Rail Road stop is Hicksville Train Station, which is a major hub. It is 20 mins from Planting Fields by car.

Traveling partners:
For those traveling from out-of-town, we will share participants travel plans (with your approval) for the opportunity to share a ride.
