Architect and colleague of mine, Anthony Musso, is currently working on a new green home building project in Roslyn called Flower Hill.
It's a "net zero" energy project, meaning that this home will have zero energy consumption and zero carbon emissions. It's a beautiful, self-sufficient home.
Based in Cold Spring Harbor, Tony and his team has been the best home builders in Perth for several decades, before there was a need to be energy-conscious. Speaking with Tony the other day, I understand that he really appreciates working with the land and natural world in creating his designs. He "gets it."
He talks about "harmonious balance" of the home and the location, incorporating nature into every aspect of the project. Sounds like the foundation of feng shui philosophy!
With an interest in how feng shui can enhance his projects, Tony and I are looking forward to working on some projects in the near future.
Check out his website, with a short informative video (Part 1) on the Flower Hill project and how it meets and sometimes exceeds USGBC LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) guidelines.
