Watching the Women’s Skeleton event the other night, I was struck by what one of the commentator’s said about Katie Uhlaender. She said that Katie “can’t get enough of speed,” referring to the fact that speed is inbred into her requirements for life. So I wondered, “She must have FIRE in her birth chart!”
And, of course, with that red-dyed hair and spunky personality, it nearly sealed my conviction that she did indeed have Fire in her chart.
So checking the charts of the medal winners and Katie (how, unfortunately, missed a medal by 4/100’s of a second), here is what I found:
Athlete | Birth date | 9 Star Ki #’s | Elements |
Lizzy Yarnold of Great Britain | 10/31/1988 | 3.6.2. | Wood, Metal, Earth |
Noelle Pikus Pace of USA | 12/8/1982 | 9.4.1. | Fire, Wood, Water |
Elena Nikitina of Russia | 10/2/1992 | 8.4.9. | Earth, Wood, Fire |
Katie Uhlaender of USA | 7/18/1984 | 7.3.9. | Metal, Wood, Fire |
It’s no surprise that of the top four athletes in this event three have FIRE! Fire is where they get the drive for speed.
And Elena and Katie have Fire as their Energetic number, which represents how they move and work! Interesting that Noelle Pikus-Pace has Water as her Energetic number – as water tends to flow with the tides and isn’t in much of a rush. However, I think her Water expresses as her ability to “go with the flow” – her reaction to her heats and, as one commentator said to her reaction at the Vancouver Olympics when she just missed getting a medal “oh well!”
And, they ALL have WOOD in their charts – wood people are known to be fierce competitors! They compete in nearly everything they do!
Now, let’s look at some of the top Men’s Speed Skaters:
Athlete | Birth date | 9 Star Ki #’s | Elements |
Zbigniew Brodka of Poland | 8/8/1984 | 7.2.1. | Metal, Earth, Water |
Konrad Neidzwiedzki of Poland | 1/2/1985 | 7.7.5. | Metal, Metal, Earth |
Havard Bokko of Norway | 2/2/1987 | 5.9.1. | Earth, Fire, Water |
Sverre Lunde Pedersen of Norway | 7/17/1992 | 8.6.7. | Earth, Metal, Metal |
So very different! Only one of the competitors have FIRE in their charts and NONE have Wood! The common element between this group is METAL. Metal is all about precision and perfectionism. It’s also about strong leadership.
I’m so curious now. I’m going to have to review some of the figure skaters charts. Who knows what I’ll find there!
Note: I used 9 Star Ki Astrology, a Japanese style of astrology that looks at the client’s birth date to get three element numbers (based on a 9 number system). 1 = water; 2, 5 and 8 = earth; 3 and 4 = wood; 6 and 7 = metal; and 9 = fire.
