Does this room appeal to you? If so, your True Nature is probably represented by the Wood Element, one of the Five Elements in Chinese philosophy.
I love this room and see how my Wood Element connects to it: wood paneling, flooring and wood furnishings make the room feel cozy and connected to nature; the organic lighting mimics tree branches; even the fabrics are organic and plant-based. A plant provides the true element connection here, although I would love to see a few more plants in this room.
In our personalities, Wood is known as the archetype of the Pioneer. It represents the energy of pushing forward and making things happen. Wood has a plan and knows what to do, so watch out and get out of the way!
The energy of Wood propels us to start new projects and be productive. Wood doesn't like to sit around and talk about it. They want "to do" and often in a big way. Wood is courageous and adventurous, looking for new things to spark their lively imaginations.
My True Nature is Wood, so I identify with many of these qualities, as well as its quirks. Because Wood likes movement and action, it can be impatient in the decision-making process, or during planning. As a result, they can be impulsive and can get easily frustrated when others are not as quick-moving as they are. Yes, I can be impulsive, and frustrated, at times!
And even if your True Nature is not Wood, you still have qualities of Wood within you. When you need to take initiative, you need to muster up some courage to make a connection, or want to think out of the box. Wood is there to assist you! Here is more info on the Wood Element.
